dash swap?

can i swap a rodeo dash in my 89'? i am talking about the newer dash that is all curved? or a old car dash? i the old car dash ould be so fing cool info plz

yeah thats what i put in my 89, I havent got all the bugs worked out but it will fit, I welded brackets to the tube support behind the das for m ounting locations. I dont have all the braces in my dash cause ive been piecing it together

im thinking about the same thing.....I dunno I have a few ideas for interior and a different dash would definately make the difference Although already with the stock dash people ask me if its custom? haha I dunno i guess not enough isuzu pickups around here in Canada eh!

I PUT AN 89 TROOPER DASH IN MY 86 P'UP THE BOTTOM OF THE DASH BOLTED RIGHT WITH LIKE A 2 INCH SPACER AND I HAD TO TRIM DOWN THE SIDES LIKE 3/4 OF AN INCH ON EACH SIDE BUT OTHER THAN THAT IT WENT RIGHT IN

I have a rodeo dash in mine.Its a pain in the a** but you need the back bar in the dash from the rodeo.You need to cut tabs and make a couple brackets.
