200 amp and up is what u need if ur going to be in spl comp. if ur just riding around 140 is as high as u need to go

im not going to be in spl comp but i dont want my lights and shit to fade when it hits hard like right now i drive a honda and when my bass hits the lights dim all over the car and when i stop at a light of something the alt. doesnt put out enough power so the subs stop workin unless i rev my engine but then i look like a cocky ricer basicly i would rather have too much than too little i guess
anyway where can i get a 200 amp universal alt. i searched google and ebay and very little came up that i could buy from

If ur going to use a 200 amp u need to run two batteries because u'll be charging the hell out of just one.
