Depends on what state you're in. Fine will probably be about 2K, AA meetings, DUI class, licence (in Cali) gone about 6 months or so. Cheapest lawyer (hey if you were drinking you're guilty, right?) will probably run you about 5K.

Weigh it out...

Well, when I got mine in Texas about 14 years ago, I went to court and told them that I was guilty and then the judge gave me a list of things I need to do. That list included a 2 year probation which I had to pay a fee every month. It included alot of community service (forgot how many hours). I had to go to some driving class that taught us the effects of drinking and driving. And also had to sit in on a meeting where members talked about how their loved one(s) died from a drunk driver. I never got my license suspended, but i did end up paying close to $2,000 for the whole thing. I waived my right for the lawyer. I did however seek one but he told me I would be wasting my time and money by getting one. So, if you think you can get out of it, then get a lawyer but if you are guilty, don't waste your money. Just dress nice and go up to the judge and tell him in a nice polite way you are guilty.

get a lawyer.. there isw a huge possibility they can get it knocked down to wreckless endangerment or something along those lines.... depending on other traffic, where it happened(major hwy or rural road) that kinda thing.

good luck with it man.

uhhh...probably NOT, at twice the legal limit, unless the cop fucked something up.

Have a lawyer look at it and see what he can do, but if he tells you you're hosed, just go on in without him, plead guilty, apologize, say it'll never happen again and hope for the best.
