Fuel gauge and temp gauge not working.

in my 87 the gas gauge doesnt work and I had a broken speedo cable so I couldnt count miles I just had to make a guesstimate. Boy I guessed wrong about 6 times!!! How come when you run out of gas you're 5 miles away from the nearest damn station or on the highway!!

where is the sender located I have an autometer gauge I want to put in. I havent really looked for it but where the hell is it.

yea does anyone know the color of the temp guage wire and does it head into the cab by the pasenger side harness or driver side harness.?

I installed a rotary engine in my trucka and trying to find the wire from the original 87 B2000 wiring.

my fuel gauge works but it reads empty when full and full when empty, one thing you might want to check is behind the dash i know my plugs always come undone back there so pull the gauge cluster and check the plugs
