alright...heres my thing. when i first bagged my truck i had a three galon tank and a compressor. i could only lift one bag at a time and would have to wait on my compressor to fill the tank back up before i could lift the rest of the bags. i switched to nitrogen and that got to be a pain in the ass. but...now im goin back to air. and i dont really understand the whole compressor tank thing. as for instance, i always heard good things about viar.

so...i did a little research.

A VIAR 450 is 150psi 100% duty and will fill a 5 gal tank to 145psi in 2 mins and 10 seconds. it cost 189.95

A VIAR 460 is 150 psi 100% duty and will fill a five gal tank to 145 psi in 2 mins and 10 seconds. it cost 204.95....u see. whats the difference? they both 150 psi and 100% and have the same fill time..wait it gets better!!!

A VIAR 380 is 200psi and 100% duty cycle. it will fill a 5 gal tank to 200 psi in 3 mins and 30 seconds. it cost 184.95

A VIAR 400 is 150 psi and 33% duty, whaterver that means???????????? and it will fill a 5 gal tank to 145 psi in 1 min and 40 seconds. its only 169. so the cheapest one fills the fastest???????????? i just dont understand!!!!

anyways i plan on getting a 12 gal tank from SSD and 2 compressors. but...i dont know which compressor would be better for me. i dont really want to wait for my tank to fill, i wanna be able to play at a red light without my tank emptying and having to sit on green and wait for the tank so i can get my rockers off the ground and drive away...any help is very much appreciated. im probably gonna order tonight or this weekend. thanx!

well, I have 2 380's on an 8 gallon tank and it still takes a while. 33% duty cycle means it has a better chance of burning up the longer you run it. I would suggest getting either an engine driven if you want to play alot, or maybe 2 of those new az comps. ive heard they are pretty fast

i just dont understand much bout it. like the compressor will put 150 psi in my tank, well locked up i have 120 psi in each bag. so the compressor will have to fill the tank four times?
also... i have heard bad things about the az compressors. alot of people i have talked to said they have burned up in 2 months, but most of the people know of people who had em, and u know how that goes!

i think your getting air pressure and air volume confused if you have 150 psi in your tank and open all your valves it will put around 100psi in all your bags more than enough. it all depends on how big of a switch whore you are i have heard awesome things about yorks but you should only need one 100% duty cycle compressor if you don't play with it a lot you know you can always run a bottle too i know lots of people that do that

ask people on this site how many viars they had burn up, i had on burn up in less than a month, @ 150 psi, i can lift my whole truck up, so that shouldn't be a problem.

i dont believe i will have enough room undermy hood for an engine driven compressor because of my molded in trailor fenders, cause on my truck the edc goes right to the left of the alternator.

i have 2 viair 460's and a 5 gal tank.. they dont do to bad.. but yeah i can get the whole truck of the ground with 150 psi.... if you get some regular compressor thouhg i definatley recommed 100% duty

um i have one viar 380 and a 5 gallon and i can get my truck off the ground at a decent driving height with only 60 psi in the tank but then again my truck doesnt really weigh shit just lift your whole front first and then lift the rear end cuz it takes alot less air to lift the rear unless your carrying a load of much or fat bitches
