O.K. hope this clears it up a little for you. 100% duty means it will handle longer run times without overheating. 33% duty means it has to rest inbetween fills or it WILL burn up.
As far as volume of air goes..... you had a 3 gal. tank that was filled to 150 p.s.i. This, volume wise, was not enough to raise your truck all at once because the amount (not p.s.i.) was lacking. If you get the 12 gal. tank and run it at 150 p.s.i. then you have plenty of volume to raise all 4 bags at once. In other words, you must have a large quanity of air at 150 p.s.i. (or whatever pressure you want to run) in order to be able to lift the weight of a truck. As far as fill times go, 12v comp. are slow in comparison to engine driven, and bottles(as you know). You could always try the Oasis comp.'s, but then you realy need to upgrade the electrical to it to 24 volts to take full advantage of it.
If this helps then cool, if you still have questions, let me know exactly what it is your are looking for (information wise) and I'll help best I can.

actually russ, the oasis is only rated at 125psi @ 24V.

the oasis xd1000 is pretty badass at 12V anyways. i installed one on my buddy's truck, along with a 12 gallon tank. it fills 0-175 psi in 3 min 10 sec.

yeah, i can't believe i'm going to disagree w/ the omniscient russ-d, but 12v is where it's at w/ oasis. 175psi at 12v, fills my 12 gallon from 110 to 145 in less than 20 seconds.

the bad, you need two batteries and probably an alternator upgrade to really be happy with it. I just ran two autozone $70 batteries and a 200 amp alternator and the lights still dim a little when it kicks on. Can't beat the playtime though aside from doing an edc, which I just felt the oasis was a simpler install...
