Sound good. Just let me know when you are ready or if you have any questions I can help with.

Cool. I have a couple questions for you. Will a 98' chevy dually with a static 6" - 8" drop clear 22's? And will the townastys fit under the rear fenders with a stock axle? Thanks!

The biggest drop for a 98 Chevy that I know of is a 5/7. With 22s you will have to do some mods to the fenders both front and rear. The fronts will just need to be rolled and the rears will need to be widened or rear axle narrowed. On the 98s, the Townasty wheels normally do not work but if you can give me a measurement of you rear axle from backing plate to backing plate along with a measurement from the wheel mounting surface on the axle to the inner lip on your rear dually fender, I can tell you if they will work for your application.

Cool cool. Thanks. Gives me something to consider here. I am torn between anther custom project and just keeping a clean tow vehicle. found a couple trucks I'm interested in, just gotta get through the holidays with the kids 1st.

Thanks again,
Rob..

Trev I know you deal with this stuff all day but I thought a flip on a GMT400 dually was 8", are you saying 7" because advertised drop isn't accurate?

I agree with the 5" front but I think 8" is the typical (and max) static rear drop..

Every one I have ever done only drops them 7" max. Maybe the 8" comes from taking the overload springs out? The only style truck we have gotten an 8" drop on is the older squarebody trucks.

I think it just sounds better having another 1" in the CL adds. Kinda like every jet boat on CL will do 100mph! LOL!!
