why does everybody gotta hate on my choice of a ride? around here throwing big ass rims on a crown vic or impalla is the shit. Crown vics are nice cars too and this is not an ex police car i got it from an auction it was a state revenue dept. car with very low mileage with the p71 options. I'm also not spending all of the 40 g's on the car there is other stuff i am gonna buy so thats why i got a cheaper car so i could pay for the rims and have money left over... so quit hatin!

Its kinda annoying when someone who doesn't know much about the custom car and truck scene goes to a show and the first thing they see is a group of hooptie beater cars with a lift kit, big wheels and a paint job owned by a bunch of little john wannabes. That is a negative reflection of the positive
image that most of us try to convey. I think
its safe to say that most anyone who has built or owned a custom vehicle wouldn't consider an afternoon worth of bolt ons custom, but yet these little john wannabes ride around on the street and now hitting up shows thinking they are the shit and have piss poor attitudes if they don't get the biggest trophy. Already seen enough of this with some of the import crowd that ventured to a show with true customs. Imagine if some of these guys with the 70's model beaters started to roll into classic/rod shows, how do you think that the rod crowd would look at them. Bottom line, anyone can build their car the way they want too, just don't spend one afternoon in the garage with a 18mm wrench and a hammer and try to say your car is just as bad as the guy whos car or truck took 2 years+ to build with more detail in a center console than an entire little john wannabe car. Its more of the attitudes than the cars that people don't like.
