Nathan, I would say that NO, that wouldn't be safe at all. It's difficult to see in those pictures, but I do have lower links.

The rear facing links are my lift bars, and have shackles on them so they won't bind.

No problem man. Use it all you want. It's not flawless, but I really like it. It's clean and different. I do honestly get a few degrees of pinion angle change throughout travel. I get about 3 degrees from full lift to laid out, but the u-joint is always at an angle so it won't destroy them. It will work fine. Also, my axle is dead centered laid out, but about 3/8" back around 3-4" lift, and about 1/4" forward where it will be at with 20s laid out. Just so you know when you do it.

I have a fleet blue in mind. It will be a bit different. My friend works at a truck body shop where the build and fix fleet trucks. So he can get a hold of the color for me. It's not available to the public, which I think is cool.
