suspension question,,,,,

i put my rear bags on the bottom link bar...when the truck lifts up it twist the link bar which twist the bag...it has a rubber bushing in the end of the link bar...if i make a metal bushing would that stop the twisting or would it put way too much stress on the link bolt and bracket?

use urithane bushings is the bag centerd on the lower brs or offset

off set,,,,it has urithane bushings and it is twisting them good....i dont have a pix of it twisting...

you MUST center the bag on the link bar or run a solid mounted 2 link to the axle then u can offset the bag

the link bar is welded in place and is close to the frame...so i can;t center it...i was thinking of just putting the bags on the axle and do it the normal way...thanks for yr help....

anyway to cut off just the tabs closest to the framerail, and move them on the opposite side of the tab that's left.. that'd give you a little extra room to be able to move the bag in just a little.. either way it sounds like youre gonna go through some time and work to fix the prob.. thats just one solution instead of completely moving all tabs or changing bag mounting to over axle. how far is the bag offset? pics would help , good luck man

id either find a way to center the bag on the bar or just put them over the axle. trying to rig up something to mount the bars solid is just gonna cause you problems down the road

Yeah sounds like your bag mount is in the wrong place. Best thing to do would be to center it on your lift bar but if you are not able to you are going to have to figure out where to place the bag plate that puts the least amount of stress on the link bar. Bet your getting shitty lift too because of it twisting.

i have the same problem.. i just got a SD 4link.. insted of the FBimini 4 link setup with small ass bar that is in on there now and im making the bar go down the middle of the bag. heres what mine look like ..
