Ive had my mazda for about three years now and it has a mono leaf set up. It does the job but with the money ive spent in broken leafs anf carrier bearing i could have bout a four link already. Personaly im waiting to do the whole truck. For now i roll a 1 pump hydro set up in the front and air in the back.

yea i think for this summer i will just run the monoleaf setup and then over the winter when i can afford it do the 4 link. hey von drunk did you dearch your leaf springs. why exactly did they break. also by any chance do you guys think depending on which combo of leafs you use can determine how bad the ride will end up?

shit leif lays out on mono leafs and airshocks out back. He is old school, so it can be done.

In my opinion its a bad idea. Maybe people have done it and had it on for a while without problems but that doesn't make it right. First would be axle wrap, which could snap a leaf and premature wear on the u-joints and other drive trane. You have other options besides a 4-link, you could 2-link it, which is not my favorite either but it is cheaper than a 4-link, 3-link, and 4-link variations. If you want you can e-mail me off the list at draggnrockers90@aol.com for some more info, i'm a couple hours northwest of you.

My 93 dakota has the monoleaf/3inch block/bag behind the axle setup on it. The ride sucks ass but it gets the job done, If the truck doesn't sell soon i'm going to put a 4 link setup on it. I say mono it for now but as soon as you get the money 4 link it.

im rollin mono leaf, bags & nitro drop shocks it rides like factory i dont have a problem with it, but i wanted my tuck to have a hot rod rake, i wouldnt go that route if i wanted it to lay out in the rear too
