i bench bled it with a fitting with a hose going back into the master cylinder, we plugged the holes on the master cylinder, then pushed the pedal, and its hard as a rock, but when we connect the lines up, theres alot of travel.... i pulled it forward, then hit the brakes, and when the pedal hit the floor, the rear tires locked up..... its a 94, and does have abs. there are no leaks. we cracked the bleeder screws til they were dripping, closed them, then pumped the brakes, then opened one at a time, no air.

my haynes manual doesnt say anything about bleeding the abs unit.....

If you have a old style master some are one pump bleeding. Just pump it once. them hold it to the floor and bleed. If you pump it a shit load it actually pumps air in the system. After we figured it out we were done in like 10 min. Here's what my MS looks like.

I know youve tried alot but on some cars like corvettes that are a bitch to get air out. you can run a tube from the bleeders on the calipers to a small cup with fluid in it, open the bleeders and pump the brakes so the fluid sucks in and out at the bottom and the air will work its way to the top. You may even have to leave it overnight and let them gravity feed. You might be right on having a bad part too. Ill stick to non ABS, basic brakes

welp, for 7 days i fought and spent $$$ on parts and tools i didnt need.....

took it to a cool shop today, he told me to air it up on the trailer, 30 seconds later i had an answer......

the calipers were on the wrong sides..... took it back home, reversed the calipers, 5 min of bleeding, and the brakes are perfect. im the biggest dumbass in the world. when i put the truck back together, the lines wouldnt fit right with the new drop spindles, you have to take the soft line off, flip it, then put it back on. so i thought the calipers were on the wrong sides because of that.
