haha there is a lot I dont know, I am always a little nrevous of this guru status everyone gives me in case I screw up royally.

I didnt think the 626 motors had FP block offs because the head is slightly different (distributor mount) and I figured they just didnt drill the FP holes in the casting. It never occured to me that that 626 came carbed first, just like the trucks...

Its like, somone told me that the Magnum heads didnt have EGR passage around the #1, but I have only ever seen one casting, and my magnum head has the EGR passage... SO why would it be different for the fuel pump? I'm dumb dumb dumb.

Russ- you are a guru because you have soooooo much experience with these trucks and you've owned so many of them. You know how to trouble shoot them well. And no one is perfect- you are human and you won't know Evrything and be perfect All the time- but you are almost 99% right on for the most part.

you can use a fuel pump block off for a old vw flat 4 engine , they fit perfect and so does the gasket , no modifications whatsoever , and you can get them in all diferent billet designs , just thought id share that with ya all , ive had one on my truck for 10 years
