DOES ANY BODY KNOW ABOUT THIS IN GEORGIA WHEN YOU WRECK YOUR VEHICLE YOUR INSURANCE COMPANY WILL GIVE YOU A DECREASE IN VALUE CHECK. I WRECKED MY TRUCK INTO THE BACK OF A TAHOE AND HAD A LITTLE OVER$6100 IN DAMAGE AND MY INSURANCE COMPANY SENT ME A CHECK FOR $88.75 SAYING THAT REFLECTED THE REDUCTION IN THE ACTUAL CASH VALUE OF MY VEHICLE. I DONT THINK THATS ENOUGH

Not really sure what their angle is, but I do know that they won't cover the custom shit unless you've documented it with them and they've charged you a premium for the extra coverage...

IN GEORGIA IF YOU WRECK YOUR VEHICLE YOUR INSURANCE COMPANY WILL GIVE YOU A FINAL CHECK FOR DEPRECIATED VALUE OF YOUR WRECK AND I ONLY GOT $88. BUT THEY RELACED THE HOOD AND GRILL AND BUMPER. JUST $88 DONT SEEM LIKE ENOUGH FOR THE LOSS OF VALUE.

Fuck that fo sho.

Endorse the check over to your adjuster then ram his fuckin vehicle with yours before you fix it. Must be enough to cover the damage!

It shouldn't be mandated by what state you live in. If you wreck your ride and it cost x amount to fix it then you should get that minus your deductable. If its a total loss then they should pay off the loan or what your vehicle is worth minus the deductable. Basically what it comes down to is be sure to get your vehicle professionally appraised. Have all receipts showing the value of your ride and it will hold up when filing a claim. You can bet your ass I'll have the wagon and mazda both appraised once they are in paint.

THEY PAID ME THE MONEY TO FIX IT MINUS MY DEDUCTABLE BUT THEY ALSO WRITE ANOTHER CHECK FOR LOSS OF VALUE LIKE IF I EVER WANTED TO SELL IT, IT WOULD BE WORTH AS MUCH BECAUSE IT HAS BEEN WRECKED.

OHHHHHH, now I get it. Be thankful you get anything at all from that aspect.

yeah you are lucky they gave you anything at all for the loss in value. when you wreck a vehicle it does lose value that is a fact and useually they will just pay to have it fixed and raise your insurance to stick it to you a little more.

only way to prove it's more is to sell the truck...

and not all states even have that yet. here in nj, there is no depreciation checks.....

JUST GOT AN EMAIL FROM THE INSURANCE COMMISSION IN ATALANTA AND THEY TOLD ME IT IS A NEGOCIATED FIGURE THAT I COULD GET MORE DEPENDING ON HOW FAR I PUSHED IT
