Does anyone know of a mini out there that is "EASY" to bag? Come on! You are not serious!

My first bag job is a 96 splash. With Square style beams...I would not say I got in over my head. But it has been challenging thats for sure!

As long as you are just bagging it and not body dropping it 98 and up rangers are simple in the front. The problem with rangers is that it is time consuming to take everything apart. Nothing is easy to get to or wants to come off easy. Buy a new tranny x-member or make one depending on how crafty you are and call it a day.

When I started on my ranger they were rare. Now they are like the new S-10's what happened?

a shop would prolly charge you a good chunk of change to z the frame, they have to gut the interior, weld the floor up higher over the tranny, make a new tranny crossmember, either ditch or notch the heater box. I would guess they would prolly charge as much as they would for install of bags. maybe less but i know it's been fairly time consuming doing it myself. Took a weekend to actually z the frame, which isn't a whole lot of time but the little stuff is the time consuming part.

didn't one company bag an s10 during the course of a show, with all bolt on parts and would lay on 20's? that sounds fairly easy to me.

the 98+ are much simpler than the I beam suspension. Who knows what ford was thinking with that design, lazy bastards.

im in the process of bagging my 95 Ranger Splash and i can tell you that its not easy at all. LOTS of little stuff to do.you just gotta take your time and be patient. check out this link to see what i got done so far:

that is less than 2 days of work on it with ALOT more to do.

and if you wanted an easy truck to bag, you shoulda got an S-10 or an import truck.

I havent gotten one yet. My dad works for the local ford dealership so rangers are a dime a dozen.. I really want a mazda but im having a hard time finding a decent cheap one here in vancouver

I-beams arent fun at all, but Zing the frame isnt either so pick your poison. There are a lot of trucks to bag like S-dimes and stuff.
