just put on 4 new 3/8th's smc valves and went to a show today when the front was stuck in the air and wouldnt dump and the rear was stuck on the ground and wouldnt raise. i switched out the solenoid and they were clicking but no movement at all. pulled them apart and messed with the diaphram and they started working for a minute and then stopped lifting all together so i got it in the air and left it and drove home. never had a problem with valves but this is the first i have used the smc's. anyone have these problems? it is not the wiring or the switches all been replaced it is in the valve. any ideas? i am stumped.thanks

sounds like uve got a loose connection somewhere, id check all ur connections from ur switch box, possibly a bare wire rubbin the frame somewhere?? Ive had 3/8 smc on my daily driven s-10 for 2 years and have had awesome luck with them, should be somehting simple to fix urs, hopefully. Good luck

I am having the exact same problem with the half inch , they started doing it straight out of the box. I have checked everything that they are tellin you still not working like they should be.

same with mine bro. just pulled them out of the box, replaced my old ones with them and a million problems. I RAN ALL NEW WIRING as stated in my first post and it still does the same thing. it has to be inside the valve just wondering if there are others having the same problem wich it seems there is, and if there has been a bad batch or anything?

Did you install them in the correct direction? They aren't bi-directional valves, are aren't most... a certain port is the 'in' port, and a certain port is the 'out' port, of which the former is stamped on the valve body. Thats what sounds like the problem to me.
