what's the wall thickness on the tubing? not too sure i'd want anything but DOM on such a vital component...

ihave yet to see an automobile manufacturer use dom tubing for control arms in a mass produced automobile

well it's a good thing we aren't talking mass production then, right? just because it looks good doesn't mean it works good. i'm not knocking the guy's work, i'm asking the thickness of what he's working with.

i'll give you credit on how they look, cause they do look real good, but they dont seem too practical, i woulda thought about bag placement before i started that. seems to me kinda like a chop top without glass

The original design has the bags mounted outside of the control arms, however, I am not going to completely rule out placing them in a more traditional location (or should I say "practical") if it is applicable.

why, because the factory ones are made of such high quality dom as well

my buddy has a dirt track car and his arms that he got from a company everyone gets stuff from were made from black pipe with a threaded bung. and he has beat the shit out of this car for years. dom is good, but being that he using sqaure that is not an option. but it will hold up fine.

Very well put. Most people will say something won't work because they haven't seen it before and not everyone has it, or because it is just something different. I think it looks good, and if it works then great. If it doesn't work....back to the drawing table
