I don't see why it wouldn't work. Just make sure the joints are welded good and possibly reinforced. Looks good man. That would be a perfect guinea pig for some type of crazy ass bag/lever set up. What are you bending those on? My bender has dies for square tubing but that looks different than my bends.

^^ Look in the thread starters profile. It's an old school S10. Has nice framerails, and an oldschool channel going on.

I think they look cool. Personally I like the smoothness of my round tube arms, but to each his own. Props for being different. And I have much respect for you Kyle.

To be honest, 95% of the posts about the control arms were very very positive. I am glad to get some good feedback. There is much more gusseting and tweaking to be done, but I am hoping to have the front suspension completed in the next few weeks.

And yes, I would have to agree, if we stuck to "practical" thinking, or what is considered "practical" we would still be heating coil springs and removing leafs, if we ever got that far!

Ok a quick question for you which balljoints did you use from speedway that are screw in and have the same taper to fity up to a s-10 drop spindle? Or did you have to change the taper in the spindle to suit the ball joints? One way or another i agree the arms are kickass looking and a totally original design!

Yes, I used the screw ins.

You will also need a ball joint reamer for the spindles.

Thanks!!
