my bags are off center on a SD.com superlift setup and the bags sit level all the time and bushings have no wear at all. and its been bagged for 2 years with about 30,000 miles

the most recent pic is about a year ago, and unfortunately the truck is about 2 hours south of me right now with a blown rear end.

the way i set mine up is i can barely get a thin walled socket on the lower bag bolt b/c it is so close to the side of the bar.

if i had super pivots, however, the bar would definately deflect and the bag would blow out the side.

not saying you are wrong, because with them side mounted it definately puts a lot of exces strain in the bushing and IS trying to twist the link bar. maybe im a lucky one. who knows. ill probably even change it when i do the firewall back frame.

I hope they gusset them upper bag brackets otherwise they are gonna bend up and then you could have bag failure that way also.

I'm sure they will gusset the upper mounts. And yeah, it does look like they do good work, but if the option is there to center the bags on the bars, that is the ideal setup. Otherwise the back will "flex" the bushing to the side all the time which will wear them out quickly and COULD eventually wear out the bag. Not a huge deal, but something to keep an eye on.From the pics it looks like there is plenty of room to center the bags, so i dont know why they wouldnt.
