yes, originally so it woudn't put added stress on the tension rod, Now its made into a A arm, so its not as big of a deal. Still havn't figured out a good way to do the steering, anyone got ideas? I've done other trucks and been able to get factory borgeson style joints to work, but havn't found one thats small enough to fit the factory steering box.

As far as the clutch, we got a prelude master cylinder, havn't put it in yet but the plan is to put it all the way under the dash.
