You guys really should not question 'Chabre'. he knows his shit. and he would not claim the truck lays if it doesnt lay. he would not claim ANYTHING if it was not true. Cris....youre missing the point. He and his brother did it because people said it could not be done. Sure it may not be perfect for daily use....but how many of these damn trucks on this site are anymore? Its obvious they didnt build it to be practical, but what if they did? what if they figured out something to make it functional? Again...how many trucks are today? Fuck...my truck was mild compared to most on the show scene and i hated driving it and it nothing done this major. Not trying to be a dick here at all. Just trying to help it be understood.

And Chabre is a great hot rod builder and knows how to build....dont believe me? Pick up a copy of the latest Rodders Journal.

i agree with cris, the ibeams would give the wheels too much positive camber for it to work! the only way your gonna fit 22s on a ranger w/ ibeams is to donk the bitch! haha

whats the point if its not functional?

well, thanks James for your input...SS has always been the place for whiners and haters..idk...a wise man once told me...its the people who think out of the box that will get noticed...but most people give up on trying before the start because they've been told it can't be done.....good luck on your rides guys....no hard feelings....maybe this will be the insentive to kick alittle sand.....

and for the last time..it was functional.....you guys keep thinkin dropped beams, and bolt on shit....customs aren't bolted together from the shelves boys..they're built....

U could graph the yota front clip to 2x3 square tubeing and just make your own frame. It would also be a bodydropless chassi

i agree with cris and james, i don't see 22's and ibeams working. ive seen enough trucks with ibeams and big wheels in the front and it just doesn't work, especially on gen 1 and 2 rangers. just because you can squeeze 22's in the front and make it lay doesn't mean you should. besides having way too much positive camber and horrible tire wear, it would take an insane amount of pressure to lift the truck high enough to clear 22's. i could definitely see the wheel/tire hitting the fender before it untucks because of positive camber. if you want people to believe it and respect it, post some pics of the truck. lets see it laid out, show some pics of the suspension setup and some pics of it lifted and at ride height. i looked in the profile. no pics

not going to get into the debate - it's all relative to the person/vehicle - but it takes about 100 psi for mine to clear the fenders. FYI!

im not going to say it can't be done, but it hasn't yet. if it can or has been done, i would like to see some pics.

btw... your ranger looks sweet with the new 2 tone paint. i remember seeing it a long time ago when i was new on RPS (back b/f me and james got banned for the last time)
