hey guys i posted a thread about my toyota a few dasy ago asking what it was worth in your opinion and i got some great feedback so i thought i would do the same for my wagon, thanks a lot in advance.
This is a very rare 1962 Chevrolet impala wagon, almost not findable.
Motor-Chevy 350 fully rebuilt and all brand new, chrome valve covers, air cleaner, alternator and some other misc, very clean, also has a turbo 400 or 700r4 that is in new condition as well. This motor does run but needs a battery and some misc to be complete.
Body- the body is very straight, not much rust except for tailgate area, the floor pan was rusted out so it was removed and the new floor has been started, fully framed for a new floor but needs to be sheet metaled. The front half of the car has been sandblasted and then primered, was getting ready to paint it so checking out the body for rust was important. The glass is all intact except for the rear window glass (part of tailgate) and the front windshield is cracked, all the side glass is very clean. I also have a complete set of moldings for the car in like new condition that are immaculate. The car has been body dropped 2 inches to lay rocker.
Suspension- the entire frame and suspension has been smoothed and painted, including entire x frame, rear end, front suspension, pretty much everything minus the s10 a arms that have been mounted so the car can have disc brakes. The rear end is fabricated using the stock link system and 2600lb conti tech air bags. the front uses the same air bags which are all new, there is no air supply or tank, the car is ran on airline and to a manual air valve.
this car is one of a kind, needs some love, I own a shop and have to may projects so im going to let her go, due to it being neglected for a year or so, I probably wouldn
