tilt bed any ideas

Now with a tilt bed do you have to do anything different with the front of the bed so it don't hit the cab?

I wanna add to this question: What kind of hinging mechanism are you using, and do you use anything to lock your bed when it down so it doesn't bounce or slide around?

im doin one on my mazda, cept its tilting to the side. the hinge is just 2 pieces of pipe that fit inside each other. pretty simple hinge idea. or you could use some off a trooper. they got pretty beefy rear door hinges

i am looking at surban door hinges and it lack the bed down i am looking at building a full tube bed floor under my bed floor for suport and then using hod hinges or something like that or maby bear claw hinges and door popers on them

ive got 4 soda cans stacked up giving my bed a nice tilt in my bedroom
