if you was to sand and do the prep work RIGHT a shop might charge around 250 (you supply paint) to for their material use.... In this means you have to mask off correctly and sand the surface correctly, because by no means will a good shop allow a poor prep job be sprayed to leave a bad primer job... the ultimate goal is the have the primer so nice that no further steps must be taken to spray top coat and clear coat..... Hope you feel this help you out a bit....

I don't think that even covers the clear coat man! what kinda paint is this guy shooting for you?? or is that just labor for paint time?
