the gravity werx notch is pretty dam stong. i put one of theres in a ranger in 2 hours.

so let me get this straight. these are full RHS sections, used as a notch. is it just butt welded to the frame? or cut into it?

Tip, if you using the Devious notches on a toyota frame use some 3/16 plate on both sides of the frame to take up some of the slack. They are a universal fit part but the yota frames are a little narrower than some of the others.

It could also be that mine were the actual prototype they used in their photos. They may have had a few design changes since I got mine last year.

hmmmmm. im definitely thinking about making my own. that one pic of the set that robbie built look very simplistic and thats like maybe 40 bucks worth of metal if that. i think id use rectangle tubing like the gravity werx notch. im not sure

damn the gravity werx notches are only 70 bucks. i just dont like the idea of sliding the notch into the frame. to me it sounds better to weld it to the outside of the frame(like the devious notch) and then cut the stock frame section out.

does any one have pics of a gravity werx notch installed in a maz, toy, niss, isuzu frame?
