I was wondering if there would be any negative effects by mounting my 450c

i had mine mounted side ways... like up and down ... with the head up and it kinda wore out faster.... may have been from bad mounting though ...

We have mounted them upside down a couple of times and have never had any problems. I have heard of some people having a problem with it, but I don't know if they really knew if that was the case or not

if you mount it upside down all the oil will run to the top of the piston and wont circulate like its supposed to through the bottom end, it'll burn it up

I emailed them the same question about my 380. they said no for upside down. But vertical like on a frame rail would be ok

you could just make a drop down bracket that holds it lower than the frame but still right side up that would be what im doing for my frame or you could pick this up from grunionfabrication.com for 50 bucks
