Custom SQUARE TUBE Control Arms

My buddy Jake Boeger is just finishing up his front suspension clip and he plans on mounting the bags in a crazy location up front. He also used Square tubing for the control arms. What do you guys think?

I honestly don't like the way they look Kyle. I'm sure they're strong enough, but they don't really do it for me. Different yes, and props for thinking outside the box, but every time I've seen them I haven't cared much for them.

And why is the upper adjustable? Threading them in or out will onyl cause them to fit incorrectly?

Wrong. The uppers are adjustable for different sizes in rims, The ball joint starts at a lower location with smaller rims, you would pull them out. With bigger rims you pull them in. Thanks for your honest opinion. To be honest, the same tube control arms over and over don't do it for me.

With the uppers being adjustable wont it allow for alignment adjustments without using shims?

absolutely! not only can they adjust perfectly, They look cool too! better then just a tube welded with bushings.

Having both the upper and lower control arms adjustable makes it easier to set correct allignment & to fine tune suspension dynamics. I also like how it looks.

What I was referring to is the upper arm. The angle at which the threads are, the bushings would get farther apart, or closer. So what I was gathering is that if you wanted to suck the top in more, for more camber say, that the bushings wouldnt allow it because they would hit the mount. Going out more they would widen, probably not much at all, but would still probably fit.
