If your going to be towing, i would have a back half built for your truck that is reinforced for towing, and depending on how much lift you get you may or may not be able to tow a 5th wheel.. you could do a custom back half with a raised bracket work to mount a 5th wheel hitch on it and ride a little higher while towing.. not impossible but you definitely need to take it to a reliable shop.. i see your in the frisco area.. there is a place just north of you in Windsor, his name is Seth, and he runs twisted minis, does absolutely beautiful works and of teh highest quality, cando specialties out of modesto i believe, and you have Devious customs down in Riverside...

Ya, thanks for the info, on helper bags with a notch now and tows good. I like DIY stuff so I know what I have. Pretty good with fabricating and welding, started doing it at a young age for work. But a shop is not out of the question.

sweet man.. glad i could help.. im just running tow bags and a mini notch also.. all the more power to you if you know how to build and fab correct.. just remember if you think whatever you are going to build will be strong enough, you might want to double it... triangulate all tube bends and fish gusset plate all the joints in the frame... remember, its always better to have overkill and not need it, then to need it and not have it.. good luck with your build and ill help you out any way i can.
