I don't really want to post this just yet, simply because I haven't been able to do some of my own testing. The problem is I can't stop thinking about it.

I moved the main fuse harness for my ranger to behind the dash. I extended all the wires and everything is acting fairly normal. door chimes work, lights function, gauges work. go to start the truck, and nothing. No clicks, no cranks, nothing.

couple of burning questions in my mind.do you have to have the mass air flow sensor plugged in for the truck to start?now that i'm thinking about it, I think that I may have accidently switched a set of wires on the clutch plug.

sorry guys, I know I need to do some trouble shooting so I have some legitamite questions, instead of blindly asking stuff. Just wanted to see if anyone has had these kinds of problems before.

btw, battery was on a charger, even tried jumping it to my friends car. So I don't think it's just a dead battery.

make sure all your grounds on the harness are hooked up,I left one loose and mine would'nt start either.

anybody know where I can get a full wiring diagram from

well apparently a friend of mine says that the haynes manual has partial wiring diagrams. I think i'm going to switch the wires on the clutch switch, try it, if that doesn't work i'm going to check my fuses.

The inertia switch is located on the pass. side behide the kick panel, its a safety in case you have a wreck,it turns itself off to keep the truck from running. It has a red button on it,try to push it in,if it goes in that means it was tripped.

THE ONLY THING THAT SUCKS ON A BODY DROP IS HOPING ITS GOING TO START AFTERWARDS ---- AFTER MY TRUCK WAS ALL FINISHED UP IT HAD TROUBLE STARTING IT TURNED OUT TO BE A LOOSE FUSE ---- SO ALL I CAN SAY IS CHECK YOUR WIRING AND YOUR FUSES ALL OVER AGAIN CHECK YOUR GROUNDS CHECK TO MAKE SURE YOU HAVE GAS IN THE TANK CHECK AND PRESS THAT INERTIA SWITCH IN THE KICK PANEL --- WELL IT SEEMS TO BE CRANKING --- THAT IS A GOOD SIGN ---- GOOD LUCK !!!!
