yeah for real s-10 spindles are cheap now. just wait and get them you will have to spend more fixing your rush job. especially when you decide to roll some 20s. just be patient dude its the best thing you could do.

Srry let me restate what i was going off of i have a 96 and i didnt relize you had an older dime if that makes any difference. My upper cups were 3 in tall, i removed 1 in of the cups to make them 2 in tall I have rs62's on the front and i still have 8" of lift with 20's on it. It will lay 22's with stock arms on mine, it was just trimed and replated on the lower controll arm. So if your suspension is the same as mine being the older style then my sugestion was more than sutiable.

Dude, Belltech S-10 Spindles are $140CDN up here... thats like $120US... if this is your daily, $120 is CHEAP insurance to get the job done properly without hacking up your ride to save a buck.

But you seem to be a reasonably smart guy so I'm sure you'll come to your senses.... and maybe my shit will turn purple and taste like rainbow sherbert.
