Front Wheel Offset With 20's

Okay well the other forum got nowhere
I guess i didn't make it clear what i was asking...
I'm buying wheels for my mazda and need to know what offset will work the best for the front.
I'll be running drop spindles and i already am 5 lug up front - i want to be able to turn at least a little without being locked up.
Is a 8.5" wide wheel with 35"+ offset out of the question?
...i'm guessing it is...
What are my options?
I love the Boss 318 black chrome
Anything with a simple bold face with spokes that stretch out to the lip would be great(essentially no lip i would love)

+35mm and higher should work fine on that truck. I will check on the Boss 318 tomorrow and hit you back with a PM.

I say try to get a 40mm or even a 42MM,my buddys running 20's on his mazda and there 40mm and there close to rubbing the front fender and his fenders are 4x4...The spindles on the mazda push the wheel out like a good 1" or soo to I believe...

Oh seriously?42mm Almost rubs with 4x4 metal?!Damn...how wide are his wheels?Cuz i heard that 45mm would hit the frame in the back.Which honestly doesn't matter cuz i'm back halfing it, but still.Okay, so pretty much i need 45mm offset?

That is what I have on my Mitsu. 20x7.5 with a +45 offset. I used 1/4 spacers so it would not be to close to the frame.

Hm...OkaySo anyone else have a mazda with 20's that could help me out with the front info?

How did you 5 lug the front? Toyo spindles and hubs or mazda drop spindles and redrill?

Because if you are using mazda drop spindles, I can tell you right now, an 8.5 with even +55 wouldnt fit even with 4x4 metal.

But if you have toyota parts, it all depends on your track width (how you installed the toyo spindles makes a difference). Measure that (hub to hub width, from mounting surface to mounting surface), and give me the number, and I will help you. +35 on a 8.5 doesnt have much chance of working, but who knows, with camber, and 4x4 metal, and toyo spindles, it may just fit.

He has 40mm and I believe there 20x8 but might be 8.5 not 100%...

Ok, left margin, you happy now Russ?! hahaOK well this sucks, cuz i did have them re-drilled...So your pretty much saying since i had them re-drilled, i can't buy any wheel wider than 7" or MAYBE 7.5" wide? And def will need 45mm offset?!If so, thats crazy...And machining the backs of the wheels doesn't give me warm fuzzy feelings...I mean wheel wobble would be AWESOME, but still :/

Do you know how he did his 5 lug and if he shortened his arms at all?
