this is what works for me.
stock length upper and lowwer control arms,
drop spindles,
at least a 7" backspacing on a 20x8.5 with a 225/35/20 (my rim is actually 7.5" backspaced because of my willwood rotors).
i think you would need about a 7.5 backspacing because your body dropped wayyyyyyylowwer than i am.
my truck is only dropped to the rockers(no pinch).
you really might want to consider going with a 7" -7.5" rim with a 225/30/20 with a 6" - 6.5" backspacing.

Well actually i sold the maz wit the cut rockers...I'm puttin the 20's on the one wit the navi's.So what offset is = to 7" of backspacing? And what calipers are you using anyway Rudy?

i would still highly suggest at least a 7" on an 8.5 rim (especially if your useing spindles).you can get away with less without
a bodydrop(buti still would'nt recommend it).
if i had any less backspacing i would'nt be dragable...shure,my truck would lay but my front tires would be rubbin' the fenders.

as far as my calipers, i'm using willwood four piston calipers with 13" rotors.
four piston in the back also with 12" rotors.

Okay good deal... thanks manDo you - or anyone else - know what offset is = to 7" backspacing on a 8.5" wide wheel?Somebody buy my wheels, re-drilled hubs, full skin combo, or doors with miata handles...that'd be AWESOME, thanks

RUSS-D will know the answer to this as i had asked him before (uuhhh....but i forgot)
i think it was some crazy number like 53 mm but don't mark my words on that, ask him.
by the way every thingitold you is just refering to the front.i can't help you with the rear because mine is compltely different (narrowed chassis and rearend along with some crazy ass backspacing on steam rollers).

My 20s are 20x8.5 with a +45 Offset . I am running 2wd Sheetmetal it fully lays rocker and untucks without rubbing at all . No Drop Spindles . Tubular Upper Arms which are not needed but look good,Suzuki Swift Brake Booster . The Rear i cannot help with since i have an rx-7 rear

Just to add to it I had my Hubs redrilled

^^^nice when you can layout without spindles.more camber and more clearance but then you need to change the booster wheras with spindles you don't(but no big deal ..right).
maz2low... is'nt there something missing in your information which would drastically help with clearance issues and offsets that can be used?...like narrowed upper control arms by say...3/4 of an inch or so.

well there ya go tyler another option on how to do it.
i just stated whats workin' for me.
i think i'd rather have it maz2lows way=more camber.
i can only drag flat out without cookin' rubber but i'm sure maz2low can turn while being practically layed out.i have to raise mine a couple of inches to turn.

by the way maz2low do you happen to know what 43 is equal to in backspacing?
or better yet what is the fronspacing?
measured from monting pad to outter rim.
just curious.
