Hey guys, ive got a 94 2.3 and its acting a little wierd. Couple weeks ago, it died, and has been doing so ever since. Ill be driving when this happens, mostly coming up to a stop in neutral with clutch pushed in. Starts right back up every time, but just quietly dies, like i turned the key off while rolling. The guys on RPS said check maf by disconnecting it to see if it will run ok. It didnt even make it out of the driveway, lol. Im thinking it may have something to do with my ignition because a couple months ago something caused it to not want to start, thought it was the clutch switched, tried to bypass it, and still didnt work. Right now ive got an ignition button wired up to the starter solinoid. Anyone have an idea of what could be happening? Sorry for the long post too!!! I just dont want to hear the dealership or any other repair shop wine to me that my intake bolts are causing the problem, lol. Its happened before!!! Thanks again guys!!!!

disconnecting it will cause it to stall, sounds like an iac jon.

Hey man my cat was clogged up and it did that junk to me a few years back. So if nothing else works you might wanna try that too.

Thanks guys again for the help, I cleaned the iac and maf and my rough idle is gone, and it runs right now! Still dies randomly, but nowhere near as bad, still gotta try the switch, which hopefully will take care of this.
