I just bought a 05 Banshee yesterday and was wondering if anyone had a recommendation as to what are the best sounding/power gains pipes out there for the banshee? from what i've heard pipes/re-jetting is the best bang for your buck mod for these quads. I finally after two years stepped up from my little blaster and got the banshee so for now its plenty of power. But i know i'm gonna want to haul some more ass eventually. Also what other bolt on mods can i do for more power with out breaking the bank?

ok for power heres wat id do. get u a set of boysen reeds, toomey t-5 pipes and silencers. maybe a boost bottle. and u should be set. thats bout all you can do to a banshee w/o breaking into the motor. or jsut sell it and getta honda lol

toomey t-5 and K%N filters with outerwears. Rejet it. If you need more power call vito's (look for adds in dirtwheels) and get you some pistons and rings and his reeds.

not to hate on the honda but banshees are super sweet. whats better than a twin cylinder 2 stroke?

hell yeah this is the coolest quad i've ever rode. i got to race against my buddies quad sport 400 this weekend and left him in the dust! he just bought it and i think hes having a little buyers remorse lol. what kind of money am i looking at spending for the toomey pipes/silencers and boysen reeds? also is it worth running a 106 octane fuel after my break in period is up? we put some in my buddies blaster this weekend and the power gains were very noticeable. Also what is exactly does a boost bottle do?

Banshee is a cool bike I almost bought one. You can make them run like hell.

3 of my friends have 450rs, they are pretty quick, but i bet that was a bone stock banshee with an unexperienced rider.... those things are wicked if you do alot of work to them, my buddy robert (1lochevy on here) has one and it will top out at about 105mph, and get there REALLY quick.

i'll stick with my 660r.

i checked out the toomey website. they want 700 for a kit with the t-5 pipes, jets, reeds, vented air box lid and a higher flowing air filter. do you guys think it would be worth adding for that kind of cheese? i'd like to be able to hang with a stock 450r honda, suzuki, or yamaha. i'm not gonna race it but i'd really like having a wicked fast bike. i think by adding that pipe kit, a boost bottle and maybe some porting/polishing when i re-ring it then i might able to keep up. or am i gonna have to get crazier with the mods to keep up with the stock 450's?

you can do the intake, fuel and exhaust mods, and have a fast ass bike, big bore kit, crank, head, etc, boost that compression to get to run a higher octane fuel, and you'll be whoopin some tail, maybe look into different sprocket sets if you have some good low end to move the bike, and you will get some good top end speed.
