Newbie looking for info/opinions!

Thank you Mires! There really is someone out there that has ideas and opinions...I can't believe the info that you've given me. Maybe the forum isn't so bad after all. GUESS WHAT...... I found out that my springs aren't cut!! Yay All I have to do is have a camber kit installed and a wheel alignment and away I go...I won't be burning through my tires anymore! 1 QUESTION: I have the choice of installing a Skunk 2 kit or an SSR. Obviously the skunk 2 is better, but what's the difference? Do you know of any other kits I should look at?

The Skunk 2 kit is a coilover sleeve kit like i mentioned. They will ride a little rough and bouncy. If you just want to be low and can handle a rough bouncy ride they are fine as far as construction goes they are going to be the best made. They are a very good company but their coilovers like all coilover sleeves aren't really for performance. Honestly I dont know anything about the SSR suspension but they do make really good wheels if its the same company.

Oh, and Honda-Tech is the perfect site for people new to the "scene" as you call it.(Medicus)Alot of the best tuners,racers, and shops are regular members on the site. The sites you mentione(medicus) are just for buying parts but wont give you any professional opinions on which work best where Honda-Tech does. Honda-tech is home to many Honda Challenge competitors, S.C.C.A. roadracers, and many 8,9, and 10 second Hondas.

FINALLY!! My car is going into the shop for a camber kit. It's gonna cost $500.00 but it's worth it. No more burnin through tires

Honda tech is a very good resource, just search before asking a question. Most everything has been covered in some form or another before you may have signed up, so older members get tired of repeat questions.

$500 for a camber kit??? I hope that includes install and alignment? If not, it seems kind of high. Also, camber doesn't necassarily kill tires, Toe problems can eat them quicker than camber. Make sure your alignment shop sets the toe correctly, some shops will just fool with camber and think that will fix a tire wear problem....because everyone thinks that is the only problem.

This post IS FUCKIN GAY! If you want more power get a muscle car. If you wanna actually fit in on this site juice it and keep the chrome rims (minitruckin style). I like any kind of car if it lays. but the whole shit can exhaust, unpainted bodykit, park bench spoiler, fast & furious grafix, light weight stock gsr rims, sleeper bs, rev on anyone at a streetlight, ricer/tuner shit is not for SSM in my opinion. There are plenty of "nice, layed the phuck out" cars that we shouldnt have to deal with "tuner" questions on my favorite MINITRUCKIN website. just my :cents:

This is another perfect example of why this scene is dying! A bunch of judgemental pricks raggin' on someone cause they drive a import. Who cares what she drives? The point is she asked politely, and what did some of you do? You acted like a bunch of pricks! I don't give a shit if you have a million dollar street rod, a lowrider, a mini, street machine, import or a donk. If your asked a question in a respectful manner, return the answer in a respectful manner. Shit like this make me ashamed sometimes of being involved with this scene!
