not much, depending on the body drop not really though, if its not bd you should get like a 1/4 turn.

Go with a 40mm,I had 20x8.5 with a 40mm,they tucked but they burned the sides of my bed when dragging...

He said turn BAHHAHAHHAHAHA J/K ,you can maybe change lanes but you'll need to be locked up to turn unless your rolling a 225/30/20 then you'll just have to be most of the way up in front...I hate to say it but I know first hand it sucks to drive on 20's daily on that style truck...You should be looking at a 20x7.5 and 42mm off set for more drivablity and i know I'll catch shit for saying that,lol...

If you can run a 8.5 with 40mm but 8in. with a 35mm wont tuck?

It tucked, but in the rear it pushed on the bed sides so in the rear it didn't really tuck good when laid out...Plus it burned the paint off the bed when driving,so I don't recomend it...
