WHAT ARE YOU GUYS RUNNING I AM NOT BIG ON SPENDING 820.00 ON A CUSTOM WHEEL, I NEED 22X8.5 WITH 6" BACK SPACE. THE ONLY THING I AM FINDING IS 22X9.5 IS TO WIDE. AM I GOING TO HAVE TO NARROW MY REAR END OR SPEND $5000.00 FOR 22?

id go with narrowing the rearend if i were in your situation. Look at it like, if u were to change wheels you are going to have to spend a major shitload all over again, where as if u narrow the rear u can fit all different 22x9.5's...just my 2cents.

its hard to find a good offset for the rear, get your hands ona ford 9" from a early 90s f-150 because its 4" narrower and its got the 5x5.5 bolt pattern

its very easy to take the advise of someone who hasn't done it. I have on my 2000 ram. i went with onr out of a 86f150. yeah no speed sensor...but i didn't have to get financing to be able to afford it ($30 on ebay) it you have deep pockets shit yeah..go for narrowing it. we also had to widen the bed in the back still but it is way worth it. you definately have to earn it. I earned it. that how you make a truck that will stand apart from all of the other bolt on shit out there. any more questions let me know....

You can do 22x10's with 7 1/4 inch backspacing no problem...just have to roll the inner fender a little bit. Can you get more backspacing out of the wheel you want or is that not an option?

Narrow it Jeremiah! Theres plenty of places around here that can do it. Forrest at Fab Works will do it.

hell yea narrow tha tshit, looks alot better, and i know on my dodge the truck ran like shit because the tranny needed that abs/speed sensor in the rear end to run properly when i broke it off. i have them done for 100 bucks + 260 for new axles and studs.

The only place around me wanted almost 1100 to do it. I believe my 22z bolt on also just like yours and wasn't even referring to you. Just trying to offer advise from my perspective since i have done it. I wouldn't worry about the size and strength of the ford rear end. The one I got was under a 502 ford with 49in mickey thompsons and never had a problem under a full load pulling itself out of 3ft mudholes. I am not talking shit just giving my opinion. what do you mean if i had loot i wouldn't of built a ram? i built it because it it my favorite bodystyle of any truck. and i didn't have to pay 39k for it but i could have paid cash if i wanted to. It's not that i don't have the cash...i just like to spend it smart.
