The shops that narrows all the rear ends on the truck i work on charges around 500 for new axles 1 week turnaround...new axles not just cut and resplined.LA area as well

Just ship it to Moser. They will respline your axles and narrow the housing for $220. Shipping is what gets expensive. I was told by moser it would be $100 each way and about a 6 day turnaround. Two days shipping there, two days to do the work, two day shipping back. THen you get to keep your disc brakes and speedo. $440 and not alot of headaches. That's what I'm doing as soon as I get a beater to drive daily.

It's even cheaper if you can break the axle down yourself. You have to ship it to them gutted, just the housing and axles. I'll have to pay someone to do that. Plus you know Moser will do it right, since they pretty much invented the narrowed axle. LOL

The only place around me wanted almost 1100 to do it. I believe my 22z bolt on also just like yours and wasn't even referring to you. Just trying to offer advise from my perspective since i have done it. I wouldn't worry about the size and strength of the ford rear end. The one I got was under a 502 ford with 49in mickey thompsons and never had a problem under a full load pulling itself out of 3ft mudholes. I am not talking shit just giving my opinion. what do you mean if i had loot i wouldn't of built a ram? i built it because it it my favorite bodystyle of any truck. and i didn't have to pay 39k for it but i could have paid cash if i wanted to. It's not that i don't have the cash...i just like to spend it smart.

Well then im sorry , it just seemed you was refering to me. Again i am sorry i even said anything in this post as i do not have no experience with the 2nd gen. i'll delete my dumb ass posts now.

you can also run a 22x9 with a 5.5inch back spacing. just have to roll the lip and flare the fenders out just a hair.look at warranty killers dodge it tucks 22x9s. my 22x9s should be here by the end of the week for mine.

the big thing is that this guy has a second gen so rims that fit 3rd gen rams and blazers dont matter.

Did anyone know a shop that can narrow rear ends in Oklahoma?
