Unsafe Vehicle ticket!!!!

ok two of my friendsso far have been pulled over for hiting their bags and the cop gave them tickets for having an unsafe vehicle. is this a fix it ticket or a fine?? if its a fine then how big is it?

ive had one before, its a fix it ticket and a fine. they all are. when i got mine i had to go to the police station and have an inspection of corrections. good luck

If you are gonna go out there and cruise, dont be stupid and hit your switches on EVERYONE you see out there. Just go out there and roll and leave the switches alone.

its a bunch of bullshit, I got pulled over in 2003 for that and in california it is a point on your driving record. I have a point for that bullshit. its also a fine, not correctable and cannot be written off. its there way of screwing you over and sticking it to the man! fuckem

i got one here in denver late last summer. 2 points and $90. they didnt inspect my shit. the cop was like well basically you can put your stuff back to stock or just deal with one of these tickets every once and a while.

i got one for hitting my switches but i didint get anything for my suspention, i got wreckless driveing and i had to pay 300 but i told the judge that i didint have a goos job and i pay rent and bills and i asked him for a payment plan so he droped it to 150 and i paid in payments ....lol but i still got a point on my record. and the bags the cop looked under my truck seen my set up asked if i had hydros i said no and told me he couldent do anything about the air but if i had juice he would take my truck so i dont know y he got you for unsafe unless the set up looks UNSAFE

yea i got fu**ed though, I was pulled over by a bike cop, he said"your vehicle is unsafe i am towing it" and that was it he would not explain why, or how. then he said "if i see you driving this again I will take you to jail, because i am ordering you not to drive it on the street anymore" so here i go a week later with the mentality that judges make orders not motor cops, and i drove it and got pulled over during a sting for racers, he shows up and asked who told me i could drive my truck and I said noone and he took me to jail for failure to obey a lawful order a misdimeanor in ca. I went to jail for 3 hours with all the drunks in there on a friday night, the judge threw it out and said it was rediculous and a waste of time, i didnt do anything and there are drunks out there and they are worried about me? so he threw the whole fine , point and case away.

that sucks! when is california gonna fall in to the ocean.

all this shit makes me laugh. here in the FL, hittin switches is a distraction of driver ticket. last time i got pulled over... 45 mins and 2 highway patrol guys later...he let me go cuz he couldnt find anything to ticket me for. he had the tape out, lookin at all kinds of shit... and not one law broken.

i just laughed as i said--FU*K You...to myself of course so i didnt go to jail
