OK Id like to get somewhat of a list of things to do to do a traditional Bodydrop to Lay rocker (2.5") Pics are Nice too! Not just the Obvious, Id like to know about relocating engine compartment items...ie: radiator, Harness, Brake lines, etc. and still maintain stock hood.

Some questions I have.... Would I need to lower the engine? Do I have to relocate A/C components? Master Cylinder and Clutch cylinder?

Ill start with the simple stuff in NO particular order... 1.Remove Cab,Bed and fenders 2.Cut floor of cab into firewall and rear of cab...raise desired amount, Weld in filler plates. 3. "Z" front frame Horns to lower radiator support amount of Body drop._________________"Did I Hit That?"

I have a nissan that is already bodydropped and I was wondering how to get a higher lift in the front when the bags are inflated? do you just swap the control arms to the opposite side or is there another way to do that?

"Ven" if you are planning on removing the cab you might as well do a stock floor body drop. In my opinion it is easier. I just got done with mine on my 95 hardbody. I have a friend doing a traditional on a ranger and he is wishing now he would have done a stock floor. Just my 2cents if you have any questions about a stock floor IM me

HE'S RIGHT IF YOUR GONNA PULL THE CAB OFF MIGHT AS WELL DO A STOCKFLOOR. IT'D BE EASIER.

I have a stockfloor Hardbody and u would be happier stockfloord...my motor is lowered to clear stock hood...I have a 720 radiator so u dont have to z the frontend and I lay on 18's with just lower djm control arms and firewall is tubbed...Slam bags in front will get u the lift u need....Hellbent customs did mine.firewallback frame..

stockfloor it- but if you have to go traditional just cut it and let the cab fall and box it back no need to take the cab off

so all I need to do is put a set of slam bags on it and dont have to swap the control arms to do so? it sits on a set of 17's but would like to go bigger how much work is needed to do so?

ok this might be a dumb question to some, but idc, whats the difference between a stockfloor BD and a tradional?

is tradional just bringing the frame up thro the floor and a stockfloor rasie ing hte whole floor?
