This has to be the baddest thread on here in a long time.
I used to have that issue with Ballistic on the cover....but thanks to my dickhead brother it is now MIA. The reason why I havnt talked to him in years...I lost alot of MTs because of him. Now the only thing I have of it is the Truckin allstar mag that they put out with all the cool minitrucks of the time. It also had the tech article of Buffalos old Toy were they channeled it...now Jimbacas toy.

Also back then Relaxed was the shit and still is today because they spawned the greatest club ever.

And I always hated how the red nissan was aired up in the tire add in the front of the old mags....should have been layed out

Ok, the 10 year anniversary issue up there, does anyone still have a copy of this? Id love to see what it says about the toyota rear disc conversion. Curious if it has a parts list or if its just talking about swapping a rear or something. Hopefully someone still has this..

i know i am way out of that era, i'm only 17 and from canada but, i got bittin hugly by the bug when i was about 13 or 14 and will never stop. i remember seeing my first body dropped truck in minitruckin, i just sat there and drooled for hours on end. i know what seeing these old trucks to you guys means and i love reading these threads about all of the old school guys remembering your pasts from when your were my age or a bit older.

believe it or not, you guys and your rides give me and prolly others my age the inspiration to keep raising the bar with are rides. and thanks to all you guys.

It sure was fun living thru such a change in the sport. Still remember staring at Side Show for hours, what an amazing truck.
Wish I could have seen Ballistic up close, what an amazing truck and the waves it caused.
Still wish I knew what the name of the rims are on the orange version of Ballistic.
Thank you everyone for the stories, enjoy reading this thread.

The wheels were Boyd Ninjas. Eagle made a knock off of it as well.

Another vehicle that made a huge impact on me was the black w Kal Concept graphics 4runner, bodydropped on 20" Niche wheels(when 18's were still considered huge). I wanna say craig elder owned it? Not sure about that though. The truck is still around today, but I think it debuted back in 95-96.

Charles, man it been along time! The 4runner that your speaking of Aaron belonged to Sean Carlson. Sean is driving a PRO STOCK car in the NHRA now. The 4runner was sold to someone back east and I have seen it finished at SEMA acouple of times.
