I think if Mike ALexandra is reading this topic...WE NEED A SPEACIAL "WHERE ARE THEY NOW" issue. Show some of the trucks that helped evolve our hobby and show whats happened to them now. SOme interviews with some of the old school guys that are still around today and see what they have to say about what it was like back then and how it's changed now.

The 4 runner you all are talking About is here in louisville KY. Aguy named Joh Arnold bought it and finished or refinished it.He used to work for Cool Cars here which did that slant cut colorado on MT cover a month or 2 ago. He now works at a stereo shop here I believe he still has the truck.Could possibly bring it to Havok I would assume. But the paint is still the same but everything else is different still looks real good though.

I love this thread. Russ, I just went out to my garage and looked through my boxes of mags. The oldest issue I have is Summer 1990. It has the Mindbender Nissan 720 on the cover. After that issue there was a Fall 1990 issue and then a November 1990 issue. After that it went bi-monthly for several years. Ballistic was on the January 1993 cover and also the September of, I think, 1998. I have probably every issue since that Summer of 1990, including some doubles over the years. Does anone remember what was on the first few issues? I had them all back in the day, but lost a few over the years.

Back in the back in the day, Ballistic made me want to have a mini truck. I always looked at Mini-Truckin' and Truckin', but Ballistic did it for me. And I wound up buying the same body style. So, I'd say that truck holds a special spot in my heart also.

reading this and looking at these old pics, im half tempted to go pull out my old minitruckin mags and start looking through em again. id love to start a new project and build it as if we were back in the 90's again.
