Last week I notched my frame cause I got sick of my axle bottoming on it. So now that that problem is fixed I have a new one The drive shaft is rubbing the x-member under the cab real bad I am sitting on a pulled middle leaf and 3in Non-Angled blocks. Two questions 1. If I switch to a angled block that will pitch the angle of the driveshaft down more will this help the problem? 2. Can I notch that x-member a lil or I am asking for trouble? My truck is a 92 std cab with a one piece drive shaft. Thanks

if you notch the x member right you should be fine and if you dont fix the problem you drive shaft will snap in half ...i would not fuk with the switches till you get that taking care of....

Its only staic right now
but u can hear it hit
plus I can feel it when I go up a steep incline it rubs real bad.
SO notch it?
It wont weaken the member?

Right where your drive shaft rubs just notch it like 2 in. you should be fine.

I have the same problem, it already rubs when the rear bottoms out, and I have a pulled middle leaf and 3 inch blocks and I haven't even notched the frame yet. I'm going to notch it before I notch the frame. I just waiting until I can get a better welder for the heavy stuff.

ive got 4in. blocks and a leaf out the gas tank x memeber is resting on the pumkin. just ordered 3in angled blocks thought it would solve the problem but i guess not! it looks killer with the 4 in blocks (tucks some rim) i guess ill end up having to notch it anyway.

Just take it out, you don't need that driveshaft anyways, just more moving parts you don't need.
