4WD Short Bed

i think ezra strom in washington has a few, im pretty sure he offered to give me one when i had a mazda.

holy freakin crap dude..what was different about the japan stuff..cause u can get fenders and bedsides from your local mazda dealer for wayyyyyyyyyyy under 3 grand

They didn't have anymore in the US, at least according to the 2 dealerships here in Austin, TX. It was I think 2900 or something like that. As far as difference, I dont' think there was a difference, other than there were no more. From what I hear there arn't many hoods left either. (2600i ones that is) I bought it after getting a insurance check from being rear ended, ended up selling that truck before I had a chance to put it on.

I think it was 300 for jim, but it may have been 350. All the guys that posted "I WANT 4X4 SHEETMETAL" would disappear when I told them I had some. In fact, no offense to Jim, but when he told me he was coming to get it I didnt even bother pulling the fenders off my truck because so many guys had jerked my chain for so long. Then he showed up and I was like "oh, crap". Haha we pulled the fenders off together. Nice guy that Jim.

So I duunno where the big market would be, but it sure aint SSM, or even Mazda B scene because I had it for sale over there too and it was the same thing, guys saying "whos got it" and me saying "I got it" and then nothing but crickets chirping.

Yeah Russ, you sold the fenders and bed to me for 300 bucks. I felt like I got a great deal. All the parts were mint condition, except for 1 dent in the bed. But the bed floor was prefect- no rust at all! A year later and I am just getting around to installing the bed someday soon! lol! Hell I even got a tailgate with it!

It was a pleasure to meet you Russ in person. I wish I could've hung out all day with you and talked shop.

I still got a 2wd bed for you Russ if you need it for hooch. I got a good set of 2wd fenders too, and a 2wd hood. They are yours, you just have to get them.

haha well, it will be weird. I found a 190 2.3 16v in a friends salvage yard, and as soon as he gets his head out of the clouds on its value, I may make him an offer. Its the 8k rpm Mercedes DTM car made for a few years 86-90, legendary 4 banger.

But if that doesnt work, I just started subcontracting to a BMW salvage yard. He already has a 98 328is motor/tranny/ecu/harness for my 88, wouldnt be a stretch to find a 1.8 4cyl for the hoocher......

Dude I'll say it now, you want that tranny, its yours. No way will I take a penny for it either. Let me get some of this yard work out of the way (new fence, landscaping) and find a little 4 banger truck (I'm buying one for the landscaping work, cant haul much in the 31 and I'll come up for a day trip and bring it to you. We'll swim in your neighbors pool lol.

I love how we just take over threads Russ! lol I would look forward to having you up, you are always welcome! I'd be interested to see a beemer power mazda lowrider too! You are going to have to take something for that tranny!

well the going rate for an S5 NA 5spd is 250-300 bucks, so if you insist.

rusty wont take anything of monitary value, but a large meat stick in the poop chute should suffice.
