but tha thing is....id rather run viar and not have to send my shit back every month, this is like at least 10 people on here that have had theirs get power and buzz, but not produce air?!

Im very happy with my viar 450's. I have 2 filling an 8 gallon tank with a 110-145 switch. I abuse the hell out of them sometimes. Never had a problem. had them for almost 2 years now.

Back when I was running MT Mag and met the owner of a new business that wanted to advertise in the magazine called VIAIR, I noticed that they had this one compressor that seemed to be perfect for a minitruck's needs (The 450C). Since then, they've come out with a host of other units that work great for mini-trucks 460C, 380C, 480C and others. The 450C is a friggin' tank of a compressor for the money and you'll get a lot of long term use from it if you install and use according to how it was intended to be installed and used. I respected VIAIR so much in fact - that when I left MT last year, I went to work for VIAIR.

Viair 450 for 2 years no problem running at 180 psi.

Having sold both, I can say that it's nice to be able to get a pump warrantied when it fails, rather than delivering the bad news that their "100% duty cycle" pump isn't covered because they "over ran" it!
FBI got stuck with about 60 Viair 450 pumps a few years back, and even though I've heard they made some changes, we won't carry them until they have an ACTUAL warranty.
Air Zenith is still in its first year of delivering pumps, and they've made several revisions to improve their product during that time, while at the same time fully covering the older models. Britt and Paul have been great to deal with, and they'll get you hooked up if something's wrong with your Zenith! If you have any problems, give us a call and we'll help you out.

Air Zenith makes a great compressor. I installed one recently. I think it's hard to compare them because Air Zenith doesn't have the tried and tested history that Viair has. Also, Viair doesn't have a closely comparable compressor to the AZ except the 550 which is only 150psi. Az is @ 200psi. If your buying a compressor in that price range it's a matter of what you need. I would use the AZ for heavier rides because they take more pressure to lift.

Viar more like Liar they wont warranty shit your having compressors manufactured in China your bound to have a problem every once in a while at least AZ takes care of the problem when it comes up!
