i welded mine.and im not going to lie ive been welding for maybe a yr.,my spindels have been welded for about 4-6months i havent had any problems.and i ride the shit out of my car.

I've done it in my boxers before. I was working on a truck in my old garage (before having a shop) and was just lying around and it came to me on how I wanted to bag the rear of a truck. yes there is allways lower ones. Anyone have a pic of the prelude that was at Texas Heat Wave a few years ago (probally 2001 or so) that had 14" rims sticking out of the hood? Now that was a low honda.....

Yes it can be done.. but as he said it weakens the metal so even when done properly its not a good idea... I can tell you right now of the techniques that would best suit a spindle.. they did not follow it
