I have talked to most of these guys personaly on many occasions and will be the first to tell you that they will not do you wrong. Those guys are true custom enthusiasts and overall good guys. Talk to Corey if personaly you haven't already.

You installed it. Its your responsibility to make sure its done properly. Or take it to someone who has experience with the kits. There products are some of the best on the market, and they still make improvements all the time. Going on a public forum and bashing them is not going to help you. You need to Give them a chance to help you first.

First off, no where did I bash Air Lift... I simply stated my problem with them... That was it.

Second, I'm a GM and ASE certified suspension expert, and i've bagged I don't know how many cars and never had a problem before. I guarentee that I installed the parts right. I install probably 15 sets of struts a week.

I will give Air Lift another chance since so many people have had good experiences w/ them but I did contact them and they didn't help me the first time.

If the nuts were the "Nylok" style that I've seen on every other kit I've installed from them, then it's very odd that it would have come loose. On top of that, did you hit a big "whoop" or something that caused the strut shaft to come out of the upper bearing assembly that was still mounted to your strut tower? It sounds like a crazy failure- I had one of my camber plates loosen up on me, and my front end sounded like the world was coming to an end! I'm not intimately familiar with the Cavalier front suspension, but it seems like it would take a bad series of events to make that happen to your front end- good luck with it!

I have the same Kit on My 02 cavalier.... have not had any problems with it at all...the only thing i am fighting with is how the strut goes Up and in when lowered

my suggestion would be to check those sort of things a couple days after installation. It saves yourself a lot of aggrevation further down the road.
