anyone have a tech article how to put a notch together

u sure u know how 2 weld/?

so how do you go about welding it to the tops of the rails on the inside of the notch if you weld the notch together first? That is pretty sketch.

I agree with this. Welding on the inside of the notch will make it much more secure.Also , I would put something at the top of the notch before making that weld, like on the S10 Forum how to. When I did mine it pulled in a bit and I had to pull it back.

yea use some tubing tacked inside, or some all-thread with a long nut to space it apart while welding to prevent the bending seth mentioned

ive only installed one of the 4 peice notches it, and i must say i hate them, soooooo much welding. i did the sides first, popped the top on welded that, then cut the middle out and welded the bottom off. it turned out really nice, but im not a fan of those. all i use on my rides is 2x3 1/8 thick, cut all the angles at 30 degrees. but thats how i learned and what im used to and do the best at. plus i think it looks a lot cleaner

well if you had a s10 you could bolt on the road grater and lay 22s...
