also cheaper is not always shitty product
fbi sells slams under 70 buck where others sell for 80 or more so are the other guys better.....no they just make more profit!
simple way to make more money sell good product cheaper then other guy and get more bussiness....sounds good to me

I just dont like there heims.

I have the big 3/4" brass colored shit that are like 30-40 bucks a heim.

Im not saying FBI's are bad, I just like the strongest safest beefy shiz.

3/4" heim joints are fine for a fullsize truck. 5/8" would probably last for years, but we go with the 3/4" to allow for kids doing burnouts, driving aggressively, etc.
We have been selling this kit for a few years now, and have had very few problems with it. If you're laying completely, of course you'll still need to raise your gas tank, as this kit doesn't have anything that accounts for tank location.
Here's a couple of specs for you: The diff. bracket is 1/4" thick steel, and uses all of the diff cover bolts to hold in place. The lower bars attach to the factory spring hangers, then to pads that are u-bolted to the axle with flip brackets for pinion location. The upper bars attach to the diff bracket, then travel back (yes, this is a reverse-triangulated kit) to a crossmember that bolts to the frame with two 1/4" steel brackets that wrap around the framerails.
Being reverse triangulated, this kit is optimized for over-the-axle bags with 20" wheels. Going with 22's will cause some pinion angle shift at full drop because of the kit's geometry.
Good luck with your truck, and I hope this helps you make a decision either way!

im starting to realize its not the product themselves that are shitty its the installation. if you take your time and do it then you shouldnt have any problems. and if you dont knwo what your doin have someone qualified do it

I completely agree with this. I've seen trucks with hacked up bolt on suspension kits. Put on wrong, crooked, and unsafe.

will a 5/8" heim joints bolt right into these bars for reassurance?

do you FBI guys have any pics of it installed? my tanks and comps are behind the axle and i need to know where that kit would bolt up back there to see if i have any room.

No. 5/8" is smaller than 3/4" (6/8")! I was trying to say that a smaller joint would probably suffice, but we go with 3/4" on all of our fullsize kits. Sorry for the confusion!
