how much are you paying for it. usually when you buy snap on, you are buying the name.

i bet you could find the same welder made by lincoln or miller for a lot less, it just won't say snap on....

I don't know much about that welder, but mine is a Snap-On YA212, and it's badass. I think that Snap-On welders are made by Miller, but I wouldn't quote me on that. I only paid $2300 for it from Snap-On, so it wasn't THAT high priced. Mine is a 240A model, and I think it can weld up to inch thick on a single pass... I'm not real sure anymore, I've had the thing for about 6 years. Regardless, buying from Snap-On isn't always that bad, I always found it to be convenient, even though I was paying more, I was able to make payments (Most of the time interest free) and it was nice to have tools come to me and not have to go to them to buy them.

I got mine from Tractor Supply Company and its holding my truck together. fuck the name as long as it gets the job done. Mine cost 230$

snap on welders are not made by miller, they suck to get parts for and are way over priced, i had a snap on 140 ($1900) and a 240 ($2400) and they dont even compare to my miller 210 which was $1100 and can go to the store to get parts off the shelf rather then waitin till the snap on truck shows up

well it is just $250. The owner says everything works. I was just wondering if it was worth the money.
